Who we are

ilé is owned and operated by ILE GROUP LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17405689), whose registered office is at 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU. You can contact us at ade@ileapp.co.uk.

In these Terms, "ilé", "we", "us" and "our" means ILE GROUP LTD.

These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ilé mobile app, website, AI advisor, recommendations, content, accounts, subscriptions and related services (together, the "Service").

By creating an account, signing in, continuing through onboarding, using the Service, starting a free trial or buying a subscription, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

Age requirement: 16+

ilé is intended for people aged 16 or over. You must not create an account or use the Service if you are under 16.

If you are 16 or 17, you should use ilé only with the knowledge of a parent or guardian, especially before using paid features or making purchases through Apple, Google or a retailer.

We may ask you to confirm your age range. If we learn that a user is under 16, we may close the account and delete or anonymise the related personal data, unless we need to keep limited records for legal or safety reasons.

What ilé does

ilé is an AI-powered fragrance advisor and fragrance diary. It can help you discover fragrances, keep a wardrobe or wishlist, log what you wear, receive recommendations, ask fragrance-related questions and, where available, interact with advisor styles or creator-inspired recommendations.

ilé is designed for lifestyle, taste and shopping support. It is not a professional service and it does not replace your own judgement.

Important safety, allergy and health disclaimer

Fragrances, cosmetics and scented products can cause allergies, irritation, headaches, sensitivities or other reactions. ilé does not provide medical, dermatology, allergy, toxicology, safety or professional advice.

Recommendations are generated from available information and AI systems and may be wrong, incomplete, out of date or unsuitable for you. Always check product labels, ingredients, allergens, concentration, size, price and suitability before buying or using a product. Patch-test where appropriate and stop using a product if irritation occurs. Speak to a qualified professional if you have allergies, asthma, pregnancy-related concerns, skin conditions, medical concerns or ingredient sensitivities.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account. You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.

If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact us at ade@ileapp.co.uk. We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe there is misuse, a security issue, a breach of these Terms or a legal/safety concern.

Subscriptions, free trials and payments

ilé may offer free features, trials, paid subscriptions, paid credits or premium features. Prices, features, usage limits and renewal terms will be shown in the app before purchase.

Where you buy digital access inside the iOS or Android app, payment is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. Their payment, renewal, cancellation and refund terms apply. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple or Google account settings.

We do not store your full card details. We may receive limited subscription status information, such as whether your subscription is active, expired, cancelled or in a trial period.

If ilé later offers web checkout or business services, those payments may be handled by Stripe or another payment provider and additional terms may apply.

Usage limits and changes to features

We may apply fair-use limits, message limits, free tier limits, trial periods, rate limits or other restrictions to protect the Service and manage costs. We may add, change, pause or remove features, advisor styles, recommendations, brands, content, integrations or subscription plans. If a material change negatively affects a paid subscription, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.

Acceptable use

You must not use ilé to:

• break the law or encourage unlawful activity;
• harass, abuse, threaten, defame or harm others;
• upload content you do not have the right to use;
• upload illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, infringing or harmful content;
• attempt to access another user's account or data;
• scrape, copy, reverse-engineer, overload, attack or disrupt the Service;
• bypass usage limits, security controls or payment controls;
• use the Service to build, train or improve a competing AI service or fragrance advisor without our written permission; or
• misrepresent AI outputs as professional advice or as statements made personally by a creator, brand or retailer.

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

Your content

You may add content to ilé, such as profile information, wardrobe items, fragrance lists, notes, ratings, photos, messages, journal entries, preferences, feedback and other information ("User Content"). You are responsible for your User Content and confirm that you have the right to upload or share it.

You keep ownership of your User Content. You grant ilé a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display, process, adapt technically and use your User Content only as needed to operate, improve, secure and provide the Service, including generating recommendations and showing your saved content back to you.

Your private account content is private by default. We will not use private User Content in public marketing without your permission. If you choose to share content publicly or with another person, you are responsible for that sharing and may not be able to fully remove copies made by others.

AI outputs and advisor styles

ilé uses AI systems. AI responses, recommendations, descriptions, occasion suggestions, "scent DNA", daily picks and other generated outputs ("Outputs") are automatically generated and may be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, biased, unavailable, delayed or unsuitable.

Advisor styles or creator-inspired advisors are for experience and recommendation style only. Unless we clearly say otherwise, AI outputs are not direct personal statements by any creator, influencer, fragrance house, brand, retailer or expert. You should independently check important information before relying on it.

Similar inputs may produce similar outputs for different users. Outputs are not guaranteed to be unique.

Fragrance data, brands and retailers

Brand names, fragrance names, bottle images, notes, prices, stock information, retailer names and trade marks may be used for identification and recommendation purposes only. ilé is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by any fragrance brand, retailer, platform or creator unless we clearly state otherwise.

Brand and product names are used only to identify items owned or referenced by users. ilé is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the listed brand unless expressly stated.

Fragrance information may come from public sources, brand or retailer pages, third-party data, creator knowledge, community input, user input and AI-generated summaries. It may contain errors. Always verify price, availability, size, ingredients, allergens, authenticity and delivery terms with the retailer before buying.

Shopping links, affiliate links and sponsored content

ilé may include links to third-party retailers or marketplaces. Some links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you click or buy. Some placements or recommendations may be sponsored or commercially supported. We will aim to label affiliate or sponsored content clearly.

ilé is not the seller of third-party products. Your purchase is with the retailer, marketplace or brand, and their terms, returns, delivery, payment and privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for third-party websites, stock, prices, product quality, authenticity, delivery, returns or customer service.

Third-party services

ilé relies on third-party services such as app stores, cloud hosting, authentication, databases, storage, analytics, crash reporting, AI providers, voice providers, map/location providers, email providers, payment processors and retailer links. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control, but we choose providers carefully and use contracts or safeguards where required.

Our intellectual property

The ilé name, logo, brand, app design, product structure, software, prompts, advisor systems, user experience, original text, recommendations structure, data structure and other materials created by us are owned by us or our licensors. You may use them only as part of the Service.

You must not copy, reproduce, sell, license, extract, scrape, modify, reverse-engineer or reuse any part of ilé except as allowed by the app or with our written permission.

Account deletion and ending use

You may stop using ilé at any time. If the app allows account creation, we will provide a way to request account deletion in the app and/or through www.ileapp.co.uk.

When you request deletion, we will delete or anonymise personal data linked to your account within a reasonable period, unless we need to keep limited data for legal, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute, safety or security reasons.

Subscription cancellation must be handled through Apple, Google or the relevant payment provider unless we tell you otherwise.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or your statutory consumer rights.

ilé is provided for personal, lifestyle and informational use. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, business losses, loss of profit, loss of goodwill, loss of opportunity, decisions you make based on AI recommendations, third-party retailer issues or events outside our reasonable control.

Where we are legally allowed to limit our liability, our total liability to you for claims relating to the Service will be limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to ilé for the Service in the 12 months before the claim; or (b) £100. This does not affect rights that cannot be limited under consumer law.

Business transfer

ilé is owned and operated by ILE GROUP LTD, a company registered in England and Wales. Earlier versions of these Terms were issued before incorporation and stated that operation would transfer to a company once formed. That transfer has taken place, and ILE GROUP LTD is now the operator and the contracting party.

You agree that we may transfer, assign or novate the Service, contracts, assets, rights, obligations and the user relationship to another company in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring or sale of all or part of the business. If that happens we will update these Terms and the Privacy Policy to name the new operator and provide its company number, registered office and contact details, and we will notify you of material changes where required. Your rights under these Terms will not be reduced by a transfer.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as ilé develops, including when new features, subscriptions, creator advisors, web checkout, community features or company details are added. We will update the "Last updated" date and, where changes are material, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except that if you live in Scotland, Northern Ireland or another country, you may have mandatory local consumer rights that also apply.
